Our Therapists

John Lawrence

Hypnotherapy Scotland (Hypnosis Scotland Ltd) is a people helping organisation. Our partnership of two NCH award winning therapists John D Lawrence and Rae Jenson is successful in carrying out professional and safe therapy.

We are professional Hypnotherapists who also run courses to train others in Hypnotherapy, Hypno-Touch® NLP, EFT and other specialist hypnotherapy courses. We very much believe in walking our talk. Not only do we train hypnotherapists, but we are busy practicing therapists with experience at the therapy front over 30 years combined and within various settings from home practice to Holistic Health centre practice.

We are the founders of The Scottish Hypnotherapy Foundation, a Scottish charity aimed at raising the standard of hypnotherapy in Scotland and providing subsidised sessions to those in hardship. John Lawrence has been heavily involved in the regulation of our profession for many years and currently is a specialist board member of the CNHC.

John specialises in Pain management, IBS, Peadiatric Hypnosis, Trauma Management and Performance Enhancement. He works Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
